One-story; Bungalow/Craftsman style; frame with simulated siding; gable-front roof with triangular brackets; gable-front porch supported by clustered posts on brick piers, and enclosed by metal balustrades; left-of-center door has three panes in upper panel; single window in left bay and paired windows in right bay have sash containing four vertical lights above a single pane; gable highlighted by nine-light window. Property purchased 4/27/1935 by William P. and Mamie Applewhite for rental income; residence of Herman T. Schmus, National Oil Co. transport driver, and wife Annie.

1942-August27: Two New Schools Near Completed State HereSecond School
A second new school, the $134,000, 12-class room Sunset Park school, is also rapidly nearing completion.
All pupils in Sunset Park in grades one through six will report to the old Sunset Park school building, to be transfered later in the term when the new building reaches completion. This includes pupils who last year went to Tileston.
Mrs. Lucille K. Shuffler will be the principal of the Sunset Park school while Mrs. Manley Williams will be principal of the Lake Forest school.

Two-story; Craftsman style; frame with asbestos siding; low-pitched gable-front roofs over main block and one-story front porch highlighted by triangular brackets and exposed rafters; three bays wide and four bays deep, windows contain one-over-one sash at first level and nine-over-one sash at first level and nine-over-one sash in second story; projecting front porch has square posts on brick piers, wide-slat balustrades, and half-timber pattern in gable; exterior end chimney rises along north elevation; main gable has twin attic vents framing center panel. Property purchased 7/20/1920 from Victory Home Co. by J.W. McIntosh.
